Dryer Crib Sheet

This following crib sheet is designed to keep you out of trouble. (Click for full size.)  It provides a quick satellite view of all dryer repairs. Staying away from inherently dangerous jobs is very wise. Please heed my advice gleaned from decades of jobs. Those who don't heed report that they are usually very sorry. We cannot fix everything that is broken or more accurately make a profit fixing everything. Fortunately, in contrast to washers, most dryer jobs are desirable.Following are some sample reasons to stay away from jobs that are shown on the crib sheet:

1. Certain jobs are possible but too time  consuming

2. Parts may be too expensive to make the repairs wise - Some computer problems.

3. Some manufactures are just miserable to deal with and will make you look bad to the customer -Asco, Dacor, Fisher & Paykel, Meile.

4. Computers and interface issues may require expensive guess work. Customer don't like guesses.

5. A few are just poorly designed and unfixable.
